New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

1. Higher management mostly seating idle & at last moment blaming to Jr. Staff. 2. Planning department work are not productive due to sr. Management. 3. Company are not system driven. 4. Contracts department & design department are too much arugants & having lots of coordination issue.

Salary is on time.. Junior level Teammates are supportive and cool.. 15 mins grace time is provided in morning.. Attendance can be regularised..

...agement doesn't support you.. The management doesn't promote work-life balance.. Salary growth,hikes,appraisal is terrible.. No job security at all. No facilities provided. The management doesn't solve work problems or give suggestions and instead you will be asked to solve it on your own.. If you have been laid off by the company without a valid reason, you will be forced to resign on your own, you will be forced to serve notice period and no compensation is provided to the employee by the company.. It's not a employee centered company..

...to respond when follow up taken for FNF. Lack of information regarding your FNF. Business with employees salary. Will pay you on your basic salary...and will recover on your Gross salary. Component like Diwali bonus will also be considered under recovery.

The HOD for legal was nice , the HOD of other departments are cooperative. Salary on time. Flexible timing can worked out with individual HOD . Naredco member hence market reputation is very good
