Job security is a joke. Decision taken by management just changes in every second. You dont know what the company management is expecting from you. Managers doesn't think about employee career or anything. No mechanism to track performance feedback anything. Based on perspective employees are judged.. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
