The food for the staff isn't good at all Salary is low Service charge is very low comparing the occupancy Health Insurance isn't good Whatever we will do (Extra hours,extra efforts) no one will appreciate

Good Kitchen and team . Working ours are crazy but manageable

It all depends how the General Manager sees you If he don't like even if you are doing an excellent job he will target you and insult you. Kind of a racism as you need to be puppet. You don't have authority , and huge politics from the management team. There is several complains from the team members but the GM is untouchable.

My senior chefs(sous chef) are superb and excellent(This is the thing i like the most). But the executive position are diaster. Because they all are Syrian nationalist. They people think all the people working under them are their servants.

All executive levels in kitchen they think that all junior people were working under them are their servants. And in Cove Rotana the Srilankan people having their union and the executive chef the syrian nationalist he supports them. That's the very disaster.
