Hi All, During a job opportunity, when the recruiter asked for my expected CTC, I mentioned 12 LPA, as my previous job's fixed salary was 7.8 LPA. Now, I’ve been shortlisted for the Product Designer role and have learned from some sources that their maximum budget is 14 LPA. How should I approach the negotiation? Would it be reasonable to ask for 14 LPA, considering I initially stated my expectation as 12 LPA? The job is based in Gurgaon, and I have 4.5 years of experience. Looking forward to your advice!

Joined the institute in 2013. It was a great institute with too much energy and zeal for excellence. Got various opportunities and responsibilities along with excellent mentors. But the institutes vision was only for the welfare of students and not its faculties. With no monetary and poor infrastructure it was almost impossible to do any kind of research within the institute. Its focus is only towards completing academics.

Dislikes

Delayed salaries from the year 2013. No PF account since the time I have joined. No job security. I along with 15 others (UGC approved faculties) were terminated by the management using fabricated allegations as we had raised a voice against the management for unpaid salaries of 18 months.
