Team leader was great and learned many things from him.

Dislikes

Management has no vision, innovation,value for employees. Loyal, trusted employees treated same as disloyal employees. Had to travel on bike for outstation within area of 150 km to get hotels on board and when you are leaving company your integrity is questioned. No leave policies.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
