... expects you to work from home and it is implied that 10 hour days are the norm. They require you to have a phone but will not pay for one. Even though their products are considered essential and the order book is strong the company is enforcing furloughs and not paying out 401K. There is also an effort to get rid of employees eligible for pensions.

Dislikes

Leadership & management has no roadmap. Products are dated and innovation is non-existent and even acquisitions are misguided (Ex. Buoy). Teams are running on fumes and morale is at an all-time low. RIFs have been going on for the last 18 months. This has created an atmosphere of politics where managers are pursuing disparate agendas with the goal of prolonging their jobs. Training budget is almost never utilized - the goal is to not use it. If you are wondering why I joined it - I did not. I was transferred from Honeywell to Resideo.
