...s a number of times to learn banking standards and practices followed thereat. The aspects of career growth and compensation are also well looked into and the work life balance found there is not comparable with any other like organization in the banking industry.

I enjoyed my job thoroughly. There was no disliking with anything .

...one is sincere and hard working he/she get full opportunities for career growth. Salary was commensurate with the importance of the work involved.

Dislikes

At lower levels I found there was a tendency in the supervisors to burden the good worker with more work and take away work from the shirkers which is not a good practive.

...at Reserve Bank of India is a huge responsibility, no matter what your position. The Bank offers excellent pay and perks, work life balance and opportunities to grow. It pays for your certifications and encourages you to take part in trainings and upskill continuously. The promotion policies are designed in a manner to ensure fast growth in the hierarchical ladder. The work culture is pretty decent and office timings are strict( the only con) . WFH is not available as it is a government organization but they are working on that too.

Dislikes

Nothing. It's a dream come true! Working hours are strict, but then, that is expected from a respected government organization.

RBI gives you work life balance along with good pay and perks. 5 days week working.

Dislikes

Security officer's job is monotonous as it involves viewing of cctvs and preparing logs for the same ,especially in grade-A. Promotion aspects in security cadre (grade-A) near about nill,as one has to remain in Assistant manager grade for decade or more. Bossism and arrogance are the basic problems in higher grades,as usual. Though it may be used as a launch pad,in job market as RBI is a brand in itself.

What I liked about working in RBI was not only the job security but the salary and perks provided to me during my stay in the bank. It also offered work-life balance and provided exposure to monetary policy formulation and working of different segments of money, g-sec and forex market. It also provided me an opportunity to understand the working of banks and NBFCs.

Dislikes

The organization is great. Work culture and people are good. It is a very reputed organization. I have not disliked anything about RBI.
