Our company is supplier of automotive sheetmetal parts and assemblies to a top automotive companies. I was fresher when I entered in this company and start my career as a CNC TURRET PUNCHING MACHINE PROGRAMMER. I got a good encouragement from my senior and valuable knowledge. And then I was trained to operate CNC PRESS BRAKE. Now I can programme and operate both two machines.After one year I was promoted to ASSISTANT PRODUCTION PLANNING MANAGER and a TOTAL INCHARGE for one of our unit.Now I am a incharge for four quality engineers and 15 Labours including machine operators. I already completed my diploma in product design and analysis , so I will draw a customer design and sent it to production . I can design a part using solidworks.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
