Culture is somewhat flawed, depends on who your boss is Occasional Shutdown duty is very hectic - 12 hours everyday without any off whatsoever until the shutdown is over.. (approx 14-25 days)

Job security is great but no growth for people who are straightforward and sincere in their approach towards their work. Management is selfish and pathetic. Least concerned about growth of employees. Increment almost equivalent to 0 percentage. Policies are just on paper. HR and management tend to twist the facts in policies and don't help.

...es like some third party laborer class people. attrition rate is also very high. New trainees get salary equivalent to people with 7-10 years of experience and no flat rise/pay revision for people working since 6-14 years in this company. Worst and pathetic company to work in terms of work ethics and no appreciation for your work. Lots of politics at every level.

Reliance is world standard company with great infrastructure to work. The biggest advantage about working Reliance is Job Security. Once you entered Reliance you have yourself guaranteed job until your retirement. I am working in Jamnagar site here we follows international standards of procedures and practices which was adapted from business leaders (Shell, BP, etc.,). Township facility available here is top notch especially for family personals with kids.

... don't about Reliance. First of all their compensation and increment structure. They are using same pay scale for last 10 years it seems and adding fuel to fire newly recruited GETs will get paid more than experienced professionals like us. Their increment system is very poor and confusing. 50% of your increment will be added to 10% of your variable pay every year, which is totally unexplainable. Work life balance is nearly zero here, you have to worry about your job anytime and you have to be ready any time for emergencies.

I have resigned on my own will and they released me within 20 days despite of requesting not to release me, they dont care about me and released me in the middle of the lockdown with no salary and no shelter. HR Policies of RIL is very poor.
