Job security is great but no growth for people who are straightforward and sincere in their approach towards their work. Management is selfish and pathetic. Least concerned about growth of employees. Increment almost equivalent to 0 percentage. Policies are just on paper. HR and management tend to twist the facts in policies and don't help.

Dislikes

No work life balance. Only advantage is 5 days a week culture. You may be called anytime for plant emergencies. In promotion also only favoritism works. People with less years of experience get promoted rather than deserving employees with more years of experience. Also company is not concerned about growth and increment of people at base level which form majority of workforce. Management and HR just ignore any pleas or suggestion and treat employees like some third party laborer class people. attrition rate is also very high. New trainees get salary equivalent to people with 7-10 years of experience and no flat rise/pay revision for people working since 6-14 years in this company. Work-life balance is the thing that I dislike the most. Though they might give you perks and benefits to you and your family but mentally keep you chained (24x7) hours of the week. Plus if you have been assigned in shutdowns frequently then a major portion of your work tenure will be spent serving the company and you probably might miss a lot of family time.
