Likes

Companies have not having any goal as they are switching their technologies from .Net to java and other anytime according to the projects. Managers are suspended by the management. I dont find any liable person there. Never sugeest anyone and also no increment given even after 1.9 years

Dislikes

No increment as they dont have any policies. No technical Manager or director to manage company. Near future only may be call center will be left. They outsource their project and take candidate to handle outsource companies.

You will get paid sal. of approximate 9 Lacs PA just for watching CCTV camera and doing administration work of seeing who drinks how much coffee and Tea with the designation of Quality Manager.

Dislikes

Everthing. Worst CEO, Direction less and Unqualified Project Manager and Quality Manger playing Politics and interfering in other functions not relevant to them.Not ready to take responsibilities of their work. PM likes working in isolation rather than in team. Quality Manager likes doing administration job more than Quality Manager job. Escalation mails to CEO are conveniently ignored.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
