Puts you in limelight if you tell some one within your social circle that you work for Red FM. As a media company it is one of the oldest in this domain along with few others. Not much career growth as a sales executive because there is nothing much to learn. You only have to sell time slots to existing clients. Most of the market is already covered by existing and old employees who are there from more than 10 years. Lots of politics. Attrition rate is highest. 25-30 people highered and they left in a span of 2 years. Product is quite simple so you will not have the scope to be innovative and creative in sales. Radio is simple tool for branding and is a support medium for any advertiser. They don’t give appraisals easily and management starts taunting and threatening you if you are doing good. They will tell that the revenue which you are bringing is coming because of the companies brand name and you have done zero efforts. The older employees and sales head are very cunning and will never appreciate your efforts. They try to keep the new employee on toes so that he/she just keeps buttering them and become their sidekicks.
