Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The organization is midsize CA firm and growing rapidly. The company has wide variety of clients giving you a platform to explore yourself in all areas of professional practice .The teammates there are sopportive and partners are having good professional values .The only suggestion is that you should join the company with the intention to learn and self develop your skill

Dislikes

The working staff was quite less during my tenure , which created a pressure to work late
