Dirty politics Japan management is the worst, especially if you end up working for Database support roles. Biased people If you want to grow, do not even look at this an an option to join Slave culture Indian employees are more lf order takers and puppets, No one has any authority, a good for nothing senior leader from Japan can mess your professional life or even the entire team’s life for good. I would say, never accept an offer from them. If you want to learn, there are plenty of good companies out there. Even a good employee under the third class brainless management will suffer

* Depends on team, but work life balance is good in most of the teams. * Work location is center of the city with access to metro

* Indian management does not have much say in day to day work or appraisals. * Pay is average * Time is spent more on process rather than actual code and at the last moment after all the development the product might not go to production * Japanese work culture, you are not appreciated even if you deliver above and beyond your role

- Company is good in terms of job security. - Projects are average but you will get a chance to learn from end to end. - provide free food and travel . - yearly hikes are also good average 10% max 15 to 20%

Employee centric attitude and strong HR leadership of Nalini George. Decent employees to work with as well.

Dislikes

HRBP is a wasted Department. Mostly biased towards the serving Departmental heads(maybe because they are the ones funding their salary). So most times biased and leaks privileged conversations which leads to lot of chaos afterwards. Slow implementation and weak decisio making which drags back innovators from expressing their best. But if you like a chilled life with decent work opportunities, Rakuten is a place to go.

Less growth, salary is low compared to market, sometime manager's favorite get good promotions and appraisals
