Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Mobile phones, iPods, iPads, tablets, laptops, headphones, earphones and other electronic gadgets are allowed in the campus, hostel and bus. There is free WiFi throughout the campus. Girls and boys can talk to each other. There are three canteens which provide delicious food. The three canteens are: Aavin parlour, the main canteen and the south Indian canteen. There are internship opportunities available for the students
