Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

They call it Cloud Company but it's actually a Call center, where you have to take calls, need to be available on call for 80% of work time, and have no Job Security when you reach a higher salary, you become the target for fire at any time. No onsite job. very micro-management and all Indian manger are non-technical.

People here are helpful, supportive, willing to teach and to learn from one another. Managers are amazing here. Professionally, they will go out of their way to help you grow. They break the career growth and skills development into a science which will leave you in awe. The amount of things you will learn will make you proud to be called a Racker. Quite possibly the best company I have worked in.

- Work was more call centric, did not like that one has to remain on call for the whole shift, would have been good if more project based work is there. - The team went through transition which I felt was not smooth enough due to which the workload shooted upwards
