Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Salary comes on 1st of every month. But if the owners are not there due to vacation then salary will come once they are back to do banking approvals.

Dislikes

They are not professional, no ownership. Lots of biasness and favouritism by bosses. They don’t Like people who take ownerships. They don’t appreciate and owners will never know who is working as line mangers take all the credits of the work done by subordinates.
