This is a pvc window n door panel making plant. There are few departments. 1) Blending where the chemical powders like pvc resin and titanium dioxide, caco3 are unloaded from their godowns (25kg weighing sacks kept In a stack by stack) As a store keeper we should need to supervise the unloading team at the same time we need to upload the physical stocks by counting and should update it on a note after that on 2 sheets also. At the same time we will be asked to give item to the production unit we need to update the physical stock as i mentioned above is a tiresome work What ever it's okey. Work time exceeds 8 hours it is like 10 hours finish the work and go . 2) SAFETY the first thing a company must ensure is safety they literally provide a low quality mask n head mask which is no use while working on that amount of dust. There is no PPE kit for labours who is working on blending area. Literally they are dying there no safety gloves, no safety shoes pathetic. I heard nobody has been there in the blending department more than 2 moths everyone keep resigning. Still few people are there working by neglecting the future causes of prolonged exposure to these chemicals. Other departments are ok ok. But the store keeping and blending are the worst. Only because lack of safety equipment.
