Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Campus is located in village area away from the chaos thats the only thing which is good about this institution.

Dislikes

It is wrost place to work.No job security ..no salary appraisal.... I was getting just 8000 rs as salary to teach BCA. From dis also use to deduct 900 rs as transportation charges. And even then remaining amount not given on time .my 1st salary I got after 4 months of working. It's not only for one time it happens every month. U just wait when your salary will be in your hands. Even they don't treat their staff members as employees they are just like slave to them

Job security is like a government job ,work culture is such that every morning there is excitement in mind for going to work place if I talk about management it act as mentor such that we can work in a way which we choose for ourself completing the assigned task within timeframe, company policies are employee friendly
