Frequent transfers to remote villages create hell lot of family problems and other problems as well. Banking sector has hell lot of corruption and you will feel very insecure if you are moral.

decent salary and perks but still less than Central Governments employees

Undue pressure is put on us for target completion with staff shortage. Apart from this we have to deal with throttling compliance policies which makes even simple work cumbersome and difficult. There are so many portals for complaints and we are always on our toes.

It is the second largest Public Sector Lender & the name PNB carries that weightage. Job is not that much stressful.Compensation & benefits are at par or better than any other Public Sector Bank on every parameter.

Dislikes

At senior position, transferability from one place to other. However this challege is there with every public sector bank

Govt. job even if you don't work you will get the same same salary as others.

Dislikes

Lot of manipulation in promotions , if you have connections then only expect promotion. If you have taken a work no one will get involved in it and even if anything happens the same people will come to blame you.
