If you're a FTE then you're safe. You can be on bench for months, get salary, get free certification vouchers, good pay, decent hike.

Dislikes

If you're a contract employee, some project leaderships are very good but some leaderships of some projects are horrible. They try not to make you perm but keep as temp. No support for contract employees. Simply the leaderships push you from one to another project for their conveniences. No hike. No appraisal even if you ask for it.
