Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Promolta is one such workplace where you get to work on insanely interesting stuff on a daily basis. We launch different products almost on a weekly basis. The CEO is very knowledgeable and extremely hard working. The same is expected from each and every one of the employees. Pay is multiple times way above market average, but the expections set for the employees is also similar. For sure, people will get a taste of the work culture of silicon valley that created so many successful companies.
