If you are supposed to work on a new tech, considerable team is given for you to learn. Initial work culture of Principal was very good early management used to focus on employees growth , learning with. No micro-management but starting from what you are wearing to what are doing everything is monitored .

The leadership is extremely transparent about all the decisions being taken and the direction the company is going in. Everyone's thoughts and inputs are taken into consideration while planning for any new feature. There is little to no pressure for medium to high performing individuals. Through extensive mindset shift programmes, an engineering culture is being developed and inculcated in the company

Dislikes

The compensation scale is not as competitive as the market. The company is a little too tolerant of poor performers and not enough remedial action is taken to even out a team

The work culture, work-life balance, company ethics and core values, non-salary perks (free transport, life & health insurance, gym, stock purchase plans) are great. This is an employee centric organization with focus on customer benefits. It's a good organization.

Average compensation for some roles 'might' be little less the industry. Promotions and growth 'might' be a little slower than the industry.
