Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...very supportive and caring. My seniors are also best they always support me. The only problem is that there no growth in getting experience and no growth in salary also. Over all environment is good. My work is limit to reception only collect samples and do routine work thats it.

Dislikes

...ikes the environment and people are best. But the growth I expected didn't get. So the dislike are no growth in salary and in experience. And because of the pandemic situation I am force to left my job😩.
