I didn't see anything remotely likeable

Dislikes

The job has no work aspect, nothing new to learn. An unsellable product is getting refurbished due to an eccentric boss. The company has no policies, the cancel the government holiday on one day notice, salaries are late, no HR policy, no office environment and extreme politics to just satisfy the childish boss.

I didn't see any positives there.

Dislikes

The Working environment is very toxic there due to the CEO. The Boss started misbehaving with me from my initial days there. So, I had to leave the company in less than one month. The kind of knowledge he claims to have doesn't reflect in his behavior.

Likes

Being a small startup, the work-life balance here isn't as bad as one expects it to be. That's the only positive point I can think about.

Dislikes

The CEO (being a general knowledge buff) expects you to have lots and lots of general knowledge, which isn't even relevant to your role/domain. And if you can't answer his questions, be prepared to be mocked and humiliated. Once you're in his bad grace, be prepared for even more humiliation. The company has a very small team and the employees are unwelcoming and cold. If you don't have a good relationship with the employees, it gets lonely very quickly. This creates a depressing atmosphere. The company's work-culture, in general, isn't very good.
