New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward
I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Its basically a job of an Invigilator in Ielts examination. Need to stand continously at least 3-4 hours daily.

...m stay or care. The only reason behind leaving the company is team leader DP. HR does not exist due to which due which i faced a lot of problems in the salary, Manager is not in the city, He sits in gurugram office. If had any problems or faced any issue while working he never responded to my email or even care.

They offer Higher Salary for freshers compared to other firms,mainly ro ratain staff for the first few months.The company provided excellent travel ,accommodation and Food (Only while on travelling)which i personally enjoyed ,especially the luxury of staying in star hotels .This is largely due to Job requiring 90 % of travel . Additionally Collegues were very supportive and friendly .

There is no Job security in this firm.They may terminate staff even for minor reasons .”,without considering seniority or experience .Something it feel like they hire staff just to terminate them.
