Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Absolutely nothing. Worst company with idiotic CEO and dumb Vice-president. Sheer nepotism.

Dislikes

Never gave my salary for the last month of working as well as notice period. Snubbed my salary illegally since they have zero funds and no investor wants to accompany them. A company of beggars. Pathetic work culture with insentive, illiterate and rude colleagues.

Fake company with an equally deceiving and lying founder. If you think to join here, mark my words you'll curse your decision like a nightmare.
