Dislikes

...rned before coming to Philips. Job security after Covid - 2022 has become worse. They pay you well, but you will be in a shock once they inform you that you have notice period left and to search outside. The reason for lay-off or firing they give is organizational restructuring, but still they hire which is really confusing.

The pay is very average compared to other good MNCs and tech companies. The average age of employees might be somewhere in the range of 35-40. This is pretty old for a tech company. There are a lot of positions which the company can do without and hire good problem solvers instead.

The salary is peanut. Product based company like Philips should adhere to market standards when compensating there employees. The competitors of Philips pay there employees very well and thus you could see a lot of employees switching their jobs to this companies for a good pay. Appraisals also very minimal standards. Average you could expect is 10 percent max no matter how hard you slog. There is no employee engagement. No perks like goodies and gifts. No annual functions no gatherings nothing.
