Employee oriented company. Competitive salary. Good self-learning opportunities. Mostly respectable work culture.

Dislikes

Engineering excellence is not up to the mark. Lacks clear drive to phase out legacy components. There is no common Philips culture. Each business unit runs on the Whim and Fancy of business leader. Unimpressive top leadership. The sold subsidiaries are as big as Philips now. But Philips is not growing.

...nt needs to work towards employees aspiration, also HR really need to work hard to connect with employee and pay attention towards the issue and voice of employee.

...could have listen to me, i may had deliver far-far better in relevant profile. If organization will not pay attention to these kind of request of employee, Employee feels frustrated and leave.

...rned before coming to Philips. Job security after Covid - 2022 has become worse. They pay you well, but you will be in a shock once they inform you that you have notice period left and to search outside. The reason for lay-off or firing they give is organizational restructuring, but still they hire which is really confusing.

Some teams don't have micromanagement . Internal team pay and wlb is better than people working for Business

Company culture drastically changed after the company suffered a huge loss . Micromanagement culture has started and it's impacting the productivity. Dont expect a good single digit hike also till the company becomes stable .

It will provide you good work life balance. Most teams have a good mix of architects, senior developers and freshers, hence it provides a good environment of learning.

Dislikes

The pay is very average compared to other good MNCs and tech companies. The average age of employees might be somewhere in the range of 35-40. This is pretty old for a tech company. There are a lot of positions which the company can do without and hire good problem solvers instead.
