...i-based but ended up forcing me to work remotely across three different markets. Despite the increased workload, the salary was only aligned with one market, and they repeatedly stated they were “overpaying” me. 3. Unfair Transition to Consultant Role: In the guise of “ease of payment,” they arbitrarily transitioned my role to that of a consultant, stripping away all employee rights and benefits that were initially agreed upon. 4. Multiple Ineffective Leaders: The company’s management is fragmented, with multiple heads attempting to lead, none of whom are capable of managing their own responsibilities. This resulted in a severe lack of work-life balance and constant interference. 5. No Guidance or Support: There was no structured guidance or support system in place. I had to navigate projects and tasks entirely on my own without any backing from the leadership team. 6. Work-Life Imbalance: Petromin overburdens its employees, forcing them to work according to the company’s whims. They have no regard for work-life balance and often impose late-night tasks after working hours. There is no culture of respecting weekends, as it is viewed as a threat to their business operations. 7. Unreasonable Expectations from Leadership: The South East Asia CEO specifically asked employees if they were working 14-16 hours daily, which reflects the unrealistic and unhealthy expectations placed on staff. 8. Travel Expenses Borne by Employees: If travel was required, all expenses had to be paid out of my own pocket, with no financial support from the company, which was unreasonable and unprofessional. 9. Delays in Salary and Reimbursements: Salaries were never paid on time, let alone reimbursements. This caused significant financial inconvenience and stress. 10. Unprofessional Conduct and Mistreatment: The work culture allowed for unprofessional conduct and mistreatment to prevail, especially towards those who refused to conform to favoritism. Management displayed a clear bias towards compliant employees. 11. Unethical Practices and Non-Payment of Dues: They resorted to unethical practices, withholding full and final settlements once they discovered an employee was leaving, effectively depriving them of their rightful dues.

...er complete projects from scratch within a week and a budget of just 10,000 INR. Additionally, there is pressure to hire freelancers without the company providing adequate compensation for their work. Moreover, there is a noticeable lack of technical knowledge within the management team, which further complicates project execution and development. Overall, I believe that addressing these issues is crucial for improving employee satisfaction and fostering a more productive workplace.

Nothing. The CEO and CMO obtained their positions primarily due to their personal connection with the GCEO, rather than qualifications. Their leadership approach fosters a toxic environment where they expect compliance without independent thought or challenge. Furthermore, their behavior towards Indian employees is troubling, displaying clear tendencies of mistreatment and harassment, which reflect deeply concerning prejudices.

... marketing, which resulted in unrealistic expectations and poor decision-making. Promised relocations were never fulfilled, and there were frequent delays in both salary payments and reimbursements, which caused additional frustration. Moreover, the political environment within higher management created a toxic atmosphere. The focus seemed to be on discrediting the internal team in favor of external agencies, with key team members being excluded from important discussions. This was compounded by a lack of transparency and accountability. My interactions with both the CEO of India and the GCMO were particularly strained due to their unprofessional behavior, threats, and a general lack of respect for the team's contributions. These issues ultimately led to a hostile, unproductive workplace that hindered progress and collaboration. I have still not received the pending reimbursement and final settlement with multiple attempts to reach out to resolve this but the unprofessional behaviour continues.
