The only thing that I actually liked was the few colleagues that I got to interact with were worth mentioning.

I wanted to mention so many things about this organization & somehow I could not do that until right now so here it goes. So basically when I left my previous organization & I was on the lookout for my next opportunity, it's only after a couple of companies had already taken my interview, the HR approached & asked if I would be interested in working for them & having understood their prospect & the workflow I would be a part of, I was pretty excited to be working in another startup & even gave a thought of considering them. So after a ton of interviews with so many companies, I was drawn down to the last two, where Peoplebox was one of the two & I declined them initially, hoping to join the other organization, but the twist came in when the HR made a decent offer than what the other company was providing and eventually, I had to a have a word with the senior executive to make this work & they were determined to get me onboarded even though I declined them multiple times stating that I already chose the other offer & wished them luck. Having a big tussle in deciding on which organization to choose finally I made a choice after 24 hrs I changed my decision to join Peoplebox, after having a word with my previous managers & other colleagues. This happened when I was already en route to my destination to join the other organization which later on changed & finally joined them. It was only after I joined I was stunned to notice a couple of things and as expected how chaotic it can be to work in a startup which I already was aware of because I was used to it. I got a chance to speak & work closely with the CEO & my manager, having understand their thesis & future plans of how they wanted to take things further I was even more pumped up about what next big things were planned & on top of that, I was given the responsibility to undertake the initiative, for which I couldn't be anymore happier since that's what I wanted ever since. Coming to the actual work the reality was a lot different than what they had initially spoken about during the interview process & then the usual how KT was done only through 2 sessions of an hour each which I felt was a misbalance to getting anyone started with the work & more than the product I believed it was a masterclass of the topic which I was already well versed with rather than understanding the actual product & rather than being professional about the tasks, they always had this urge to understand why I didn't accept them earlier on & what stopped me even though I did mention what I had thought initially, which kept of getting a bit annoying rather than focusing on doing the actual work. Then, after this, the CEO & my manager decided to set up a proper system to get updates regarding the work that was assigned to each of us which was agreed upon by our team but later on even though things were on track & on average when you implement a new system one understands that you need a minimum time to test & iterate accordingly which can range from 2-6 months, which never took place & rather kept on changing their own statements as if they were confused on what they wanted to achieve or didn't have a clear vision of what they wanted. Later on when they found out that within the first 15 days when one needs some time to settle in to get in full gear to deliver something impactful, they wanted to change the complete structure of the process of how things were done & never took any responsibilities & mentioned that their priorities changed & couldn't care less about it. Also I noticed that when I had my interview (3rd round) with the CEO, & probably it's like a big concern, when the interviewer himself badmouths about your previous organization so once can pretty much understand the culture they embody in their own company, so just a caution for anyone trying to interview with them, cause I understand how volatile it can be to work in a startup but if they aren't least bothered about not taking care of their own employees, rather than motivating to achieve the vision that you will be hired to work for, not support you when you actually need them then what are you actually doing in life? It's basically like you implementing your own system & just because it didn't work you put the blame on someone else which is soo convenient in today's world, initially, I was excited to learn soo many stuff from them directly but after understanding their attitude & carrying just a big mouth & no action imposter syndrome I was able to see what & who they really were which was a shocker for me. It truly was an utter disrespect of my time. So be careful of the kind of organization you join next, cause you never know what you might be signing up for, different stories were being told for which I couldn't care less about my exit & even though they mentioned the CEO & the manager would be open to help me with my next role, they didn't bat an eye once I left. So please try joining an org. where they don't look at you as another expense but rather as someone who's as equally valuable & important as the rest of the other team members cause you to matter & finally I wouldn't really recommend this organization, so please join at your own risk. Note: The designation is different & the duration is different

After a while, I got the sense that I'm not learning as much as I was learning in the beginning. Even when I'm working on a new feature, from a bird's-eye view, it all feels the same.
