The company is poor. No job security. The client moved the process to a different location and I was left with no job. Appraisal happened after 6 months of service but couldn’t benefit me.

Dislikes

The company never had control on the client. Client used to give directions to the team leader and the team leader used up the connection for his benefits. Team leader was against developing the company with professional standards.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
