Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

NO JOB SECURITY, NO SALARY PAID FOR LOCKDOWN PERIOD, EMPLOYEES TOLD TO SEAR JOB & REASON TODAY MORE THAN 85 % EMPLOYEE LEFT THE COMPANY. ONLY 10 EMPLOYEES ARE IN THE CO. FACTORY IS ALSO CLSED DOWN.
