Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Team Lead was good, best actually. Bu the manager was worst. With his zero technical knowledge he keeps on pressuring on the team to improve client service with almost ZERO hardware support.

Dislikes

Bossy Manager. Always tries to put his invalidated non technical point towards technical support.
