Likes

good freedom working with colleagues and good discipline. According to client they cannot compromise on quality and other discipline activity. timeline should be strictly followed and priority in drawings and good detailing should be given to site contractors.

Dislikes

I dont know in which concept hike in salary they are doing, that makes me upset.There is no prior intimation of transfers or appraisals direct interacting with staffs.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
