Fine place to learn and get certified in oracle product. Resource Managers are supportive(Maybe I was fortunate to have a good manager) On request, the managers are good to offer WFH

No pay raise for years No rewards or recognition No encouragement to train n get skills upgraded Legacy softwares and primitive methods in use. Did not get to work on the latest technology No travel opportunities No celebrating a product release or achievements Not even annual day is celebrated.

As a company oracle is good in terms of Work life balance. Managers are very helpful in your personal matters and will not interfere until you are handling your project alone. Health insurance are very good. Very much flexible.

Dislikes

Compensation very good only when you join . There is almost openly communicated if you need the more hike you can switch the job as doors are always open which is quite demotivated to person because not everyone in such position to switch the job . Appreciation , your good work , hard work doesn't matter for your growth , you have to be your god father . :-) For learning you have too many videos , books but no access to perform hands. Most pain full is dry promotion , its looks funny :)

Compensation is not according to market standards. Forget about hikes. No one even talks about it. If you ask even during appraisals, they will just say your appraisal has nothing to do with a hike, it's just a performance review. They are obsessed with their products even though better open source solutions are available. They want to use everything of their own.
