Nothing to learn, legacy tech stacks, no appraisal at all for consecutive years, toxic work culture in OCI (depends on manager), very less benefits (Eg: No cabs are provided, no free eatables in campus)

Salary, being able to work from home most days a week, office attendance isn't monitored, many people are working completely remotely

Dislikes

Extremely toxic work culture, old non-technical managers who don't have any knowledge and don't value their employees at all. They just exist to find mistakes and create imaginary mistakes if they can't find any. Yelling and humiliating employees is commonplace here. If you take a few days off, your work doesn't reduce for the sprint, you're responsible to deliver the same amount. The growth is almost negligible, no hikes/promotions in the last 2 years since I've been working here in the name of recession while the senior level employees are getting promoted. To conclude - terribly old-school management, really bad growth opportunities, worse than average benefits (no food, transportation, bonuses, festive gifts provided), work processes poorlydefined, no documentation or methodical coding standards.

Likes

The scale of projects is great, technology and tools used are industry standard, work-life balance seems good.

Dislikes

salary hikes are poor, no growth, managers from the US who are also Indian citizens think Bangalore employees as second-class people, there are false positives.

Likes

It’s great working at oracle you have a lot of personal time in which you can learn new technologies or do anything you like. Work life balance is great and tech stack is okay but not exactly updated but still ones which are in demand. Personally I haven’t seen any politics.

Dislikes

Only thing to dislike is growth and hike opportunities. There is literally 0% hike so if you are getting a good compensation at the beginning that might be good enough for 2 years. Regarding tech stack it could be better if they adopt new technologies which is being done in few teams but most of teams have outdated tech stack. In festive seasons or wfh no other benefit is given other than the compensation agreed on.

Fine place to learn and get certified in oracle product. Resource Managers are supportive(Maybe I was fortunate to have a good manager) On request, the managers are good to offer WFH

Dislikes

No pay raise for years No rewards or recognition No encouragement to train n get skills upgraded Legacy softwares and primitive methods in use. Did not get to work on the latest technology No travel opportunities No celebrating a product release or achievements Not even annual day is celebrated.
