... to get the issue addressed. And the outcome of it was they simply said sorry. Issue: They did not roll out the offer letter even after confirmation that I have cleared the technical round with the Senior director and upon agreeing for everything (compensation, NP etc) initially. Finally, if they find somebody who is okay with less compensation, your candidacy lands in garbage. No matter how many rounds you have cleared. Optiv totally lost my respect.

Variable pay is not a percentage of fixed and stays the same till a promotion!! My variable works out to 6% of fixed which is really unfair

- Exposure to variety of security strategy projects - Encouragement and sponsorship for certifications (limit exists)

Dislikes

1. Celebration of workoholism. 2. India managers consistently not pushing back on poorly scoped (over commited under resourced) projects. 2. Treatment of India based individuals by US based managers. 3. Inexperienced people (including slackers) getting promoted in US.

Very bad company.. HR is of no use. Only focusing on her enjoyment. She does no work, very bias. Very bad leadership and management. Never seen this much miss managed and terrible leadership. No likes

They do favours with some people. Management is bad. They do not care about people value. Fire in seconds. People keep on changing. I think there is noone who worked in this company more than 3 years. They even fire senior leadership just in minutes without any reason

Job security 100% Good health insurance. Flexible working hours Company policy has degraded. Slow in making policies. When all the other companies were already had policies around covid 19 (leaves, reimbursement) then Optiv banglore was thinking of making policies. Doesn't share profit with employees. for ex: 1. no covid 19 vaccination drive for employee's dependent 2. only 5000 rupees given for home office set-up when all the companies are spending good amount on this for one time setup. 3. No internet reimbursement. 4. Employees could only get the covid check ups (CT scan , x-ray etc) reimbursement which was capped to Rs 2000. No reimbursement for Check ups of dependents. 5. Absolutely no promotions in IAM. People are stuck in same role for years. 6. Higher management only wants contractors for doing the job. The IAM team strength has gone down to 5 from 20-25 7. No clear decision. Sometimes they open a position and try to hire a Principal consultant/senior/mid senior role but after that they close the position without hiring anyone. This happened multiple times not just once. 8. No SME in Optiv Bangalore for different tools like Cyberark, Okta, Ping, Sailpoint etc. So if you are stuck somewhere doing your work then you have to discuss with your acquaintances in other companies or wait till the evening to discuss it with your US counterparts. 9. No onsite. Few people got onsite in earlier days (ancient times) because of previous higher management which was far better and transparent. Now after lots of changes in entire higher management in India , just forget about onsite 10. Same old talks in town-halls. No promises are actually implemented.

No free transport, tiny cafeteria,no free food, no international relocation, negligible team outing, no child care, no education assistance, no gym,, no branding.
