Dislikes

Internal politics. If you want to grow within this company then you need to be good in buttering your boss. Only few employees are hardworking but hard work does't mean anything in this company. HR department also don't listen the employees voice.

Likes

The base salary is slightly above average but you don't get any stocks and other benefits.

Dislikes

(1) You learn nothing it's just fixing bugs by changing some parameters. (2) overworked. They expect you to work well after working hours and on weekends sometimes. You will not get time to better yourself. (3) No real R&D work happens, it's a glorified service job. A few people slightly modify Chinese patents and present them to lure new employees. Those patents are rarely done by you and useless. (4) one of the new lateral employee who said he can't work more than 12+ hours like this got fired. Forget job security. (5) even a brief stint is not worth your physical and mental health. The Chinese have a 996 culture where they work 9am-9pm 6 days a week. You will never beat that. (6) very low hike, sometimes just 1%. (7) HR even restricts the type of clothing :p. Don't ever complain to hr on anything, you will only get fired. Just leave

Structure of the organisation is not so employee friendly. Almost everything is governed by HQ (OPPO China Office). And it seems India management tries to negotiate with HQ quite often but they fails almost every time (or they just shows that they are trying). Which overall makes the company policies poor for employees as well as makes management weak if not poor.

Dislikes

...taining the code, not on any feature/core development because there are none. Initial salary + bonuses offered are good, but expect increment to be low. A lot of politics comes into play while work and bonus distributions so if you're good with politics, good for you. But if you're not, someone else is for sure will eat your piece of pie. About work-life balance and learning, as said most of the work is code maintenance so you will need to compromise (strongly) on both. Also other perks are very less compared to competitive organisations.

Salary on time, free transportation, free food & overtime

Dislikes

Management is very bad. Rules are very bad. No promotion here. All 10th, 12th , ITI, diploma even B. tech level employees putted in same category. How a ITI employee can be senior to a B. tech employee, most employee have ITI qualification who is in senior post, mostly employee don't have degree, mostly employee have fake diploma and degree. only those employee get promote either they have less qualification or they are close to a senior person.

Salary is good, Incentives is the only part of earning Self learning Basic Core marketing & sales work, it's good company for freshers to learn & work but not more than 2 years.

Dislikes

Management is very poor, no integrity in several departments, no appraisals, low basic salary, no supports from company on Market issues & also to increase increaments, no such satisfying policy for employees About health insurance. Low variables, company payroll is third party so have much more issues while taking loans. No motivation for employees.
