Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The managers at Onsitego are very supportive

Dislikes

...olicies introduced by them are fake. Never ever believe HR in this organisation. They'll never pay you for your hardwork. Many of the employees leave the organization because of the HR policies. Working hours here is 9.30 hrs wherein in other organisations its just 9 or 8.5 including breaks
