Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I loved that I had a great degree of control and freedom within my job. whenever I applied for any government related work the management responded very well.

some of the managers know there job and understand there role.

Dislikes

There was a lot of hear say within the lower to upper managers and they would rather believe the hear say of others in the company than conduct a proper investigation. This is poor management.
