...gement is transparent. there is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow. There is a bond of 2 years before which you cannot resign. On the job training is not given to new joinees.

...ia. Great history. Policing is great. One can built his carrier by working hard. Salary is good. Some political pressure is there but manageable. Regarding work life balance it needs improvement. Police job is a top job. But many of us doing it with much satisfaction thought some difficulties are there.

Working in different branches of the organisation helps in improving quality of professionalism.

Regular rotation of officers in different branches of the organization would help a lot to keep them away from monotony and other professional complications

At present Odisha Police is facing a challenging task. Its modernization is going on in fast pace.Present working scenario is quite different from the olden days.Team mates are very co-operative,Main drawback is the shortage of manpower and long hours of duty, Some times people have to forget their sleep.You will get a good opportunity to serve the needy people if you are really interested to do so,

Some time leg pulling,outside Interference in duty.Blame may come at any time,Improper promulgation of orders to the subordinates ,Mismanagement of manpower.

Latest technology are introducing ,police cooprating all types of people.

Political interference is still bothering,real talents are neglected,all the transfer should be done within 2 yrs but in some posts its unchaged.There are so many lacuna in police dept.
