Salary and the facilities are good. They give training but depends from one hotel to another of the same brand.

Dislikes

No personal life. Work environment and teammates depend on hotel to hotel. They have started hiring people who are not from HM background which is kind of degrading the quality of Oberoi's. I heard that they don't compromise with their standards but then they started that and that was one of the reason for me to quit. Mentally the HM graduate starts getting frustrated and over that the long shifts and for like 13-14 hours and sometimes more then that. Never got my food on time and there was a time when my manager denied me to go for my food. I have starved and worked but didn't get any appreciation. And this all led to my sick health.

Working in oberoi hotels helps you to make present minded and to work in busy environment and to tackle in difficult situations.

Dislikes

There is no work-life balance in oberoi hotels and no recognition for ur work, less salary no promotions and shifts hours goes for at least 11 hrs to 14 hrs and u won't receive comp offs or extra salary for over times also te mana management very poor they don't know how to manage staffing and their always understaff and hires only freshers no a single experience person to held other staffs they are just money oriented company and they don't care about their staff. Think 100 times before joining this organisation.

We have our salary at the end of the month ,no doubt there in the lockdown time also . After getting positive from corona virus , My executives called me via telephone and talked to me there is no doubt bt something is missing there.

Work life balance is not there . A big hectic shifts like 16 hours a day.

Support is excellent from company... salary has been provided even in such tough times..and even though not being on shift because of lockdown

Being in Service sector from 1 and half years not getting to work in restaurant or ird instead making me work in Pastry shop , and I don't like working there because my ambition lies in working in restaurant
