Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Overall company policy is good for new joining Only, while old employees working old salary policy like, HRA, Basic, Bonus

Dislikes

Salary structure is very bad for old employees because salary structure is not upgraded or not revised as per company policy. If you check HRA / bonus / basic is not matched with new and old employees salary structure.

Slabs for payroll and proper grading of salaries should be done.. you may find assistant manager salary Lower than Sr Executive.. some standard study wrt to market salary should happen.

Not getting deserved recognition. New employees getting more Salary than existing experienced employees. New employees getting more salary but working for very short term which directly or Indirectly increases workload on existing experienced employees. New Employees :- High Salary - Low Work Pressure. Existing Experienced Employees :- Low Salary - High Work Pressure
