The consultants are good, only they hold the fort and nothing else.

Dislikes

...inistration is rude to us , they disrespect the doctors and take us for granted. Unnecessary salary slashing , penny pinching is done and petty reasons are given to us. They make us buy our own N95 masks, they don't provide proper PPE kits. The ER and ICU and pharmacy never has stock of the emergency drugs and equipment and we are made to run and make calls to arrange these drugs. This management fleeces middle class people of money and reserve special place for rude and badly behaved VIP patients who think they can fling their money and get royalty treatment over the others. They place undertrained nurses alone on night shifts which leaves us duty doctors in a difficult situation to manage the show. Above all they make us carry a walkie-talkie around with us like security guards and we are barked at on the machines by the caller if we take more than even 2 seconds to answer it, not even spared during a washroom break. They have a useless ,long tedious system for procuring lab reports of a patient . They also don't have a specific duty doctors room for us to take some rest in the long 16 hour shifts. They throw us out of the room in the middle of the night disrespectfully to give the room to some VIP patient. The administration has an unusual reign over the Covid admission. They pick those where they can make money. I would never recommend this hospital to any other colleague or junior as a work place. We left feeling upset, frustrated and disappointed .We are better off in a place where we are respected and our work is acknowledged.

While I enjoy working for the company, the tasks I perform in my current position have become repetitive. I spend most of my day doing data entry on the computer, rather than interacting with customers.
