Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

.... Jr And Sr Teammates are supportive and Directors Behavior is Best and Helpful. Company Growth Policy are Excellent, appraisals are fair and they give good Salary (Target Based) and Released Extra Commissions/Incentives Timely Every Month.

Dislikes

Salary is Only Target Based, Job Security Is Not Good. Career Growth Is Depends On only Target Achievement. Saling Training is not given to new joinees.
