No career growth only reference persons get upward growth. Salary not up to market standards and no growth in salary. No job security always threatened by boss of it. No travel compensation. No freedom for self innovation or problem solving. Work environment is very suffocating as talented people are ditched but nepotism and your reference people are always elevated towards growth. Work life is really hectic 24*7 work no time table of sleeping working or personal life. No chances of Onroll employee. No traveling expense. So therefore telecom companies are towards their decline phase need to improve the work culture and respect each and every individuals no matter what positions they hold. Need to eliminate bossy or political environment give freedom to express individual thought action and wings to fly.

Nokia Siemes provides good learning prospects and is very employee centric. however, due to Telecom industry leading to saturation Level job security, growth and compensation are real issues a cross the sector.

Nokia is a best place of you are looking out for a stable job and secure stay. In my 14 yrs of career I have seen very less or least corporate politics in Nokia. I don't want to generalise that for the whole company becoz I have worked for 3 different teams at Nokia. So that's my opinion. Sometimes people are extremely rude and head strong here, becoz they have lived their whole life here and they think it's their own place. So you might some times better dissatisfied with the people around.

Dislikes

Everybody has the same opinion about pay and promotion. But I personally feel Nokia is paying a bit less than the market trend, however their policies are fair enough. At the end of the day, the more you earn, the more tax you pay, so it's one and the same.

Likes

Salary compensation upto market standards, people are supportive team mates and others. Working on 5G itself is challenging and learning opportunities are more.
