New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

There is not much to appreciate about this company. They make plenty of promises but they rarely deliver. Only HR is helpful.

...Job Security at all, they can fire you at any time without giving you Notice. 2. Salary not on time. it is getting delay by more than one month. 3. No Health Insurance 4. Office is not good, they office in 1 BHK with only one AC. 5. They will not disclose Everything before you join. 6. Expectation from New Employee is too high. 7. Without proper KT they will assign you Task from day one and expect to finish as per their wish. 8. They have Leave Sandwich policy. if you take leave on Friday/Monday then Saturday and Sunday will also considered as Leave. 9. Forcing Employee to work from their other office which is not in Pune. 10. Freshers having bond. 11. They will tell you that they have onsite opportunities but they don't
