Work culture is very bad. All verticals try to pull you from all side and work may extend beyond 12 hours some days with Saturdays being taken as well. No work life balance is noticed. There is hardly any growth here. Attrition rate is high.

Exploring new technologies is my passion. Here i got the opportunity to explore newly emerging technologies like 3-D printing, Artificial Intelligence etc . I like it the most.

I like to work here just for the cause to improve the government schooling system, moreover it is aspirational district needs to be transform in primary education. Ensure better implementation of RTE.

NITI has been set up by replacing Planning Commission. It's functions have been revised basically to formulate policy in respect to various sectors of economy. Further, it has also been entrusted with the responsibility of monitoring and evaluation of various programmes and schemes to assess their outcomes and impact on beneficiaries. However, monitoring and evaluation tasks are not to the satisfactory level. The expected coordination and cooperation of the States is also not up-to the expectation Since I was assigned the work of appraisal of projects and schemes in Project Appraisal and Mangemnt Division to advise the government bodies like Public Investment Board and Expenditure Committee in the Ministry of Finance. This is a professional work and I enjoyed very much while appraising about 750 schemes and projects during 25 years tenure. I feel that NITI Aayog is weaker organization than Planning Commission.
