Only on time salary

A sinking ship in terms of culture. Extreme micromanagement in fintech teams and toxic works culture and rules. Deserving employess don't get promoted. Good tech leads are getting fired. Favouritism and boot lic*ing everywhere. HR are not really taking concern and action about the problem or issues raised, only doing the formalities to just connecting with employees.

... new grad with no offers at the point of time, join here without any hesitation. They pay less, the workload is huge but something is better than nothing. But hey, you must not stop preparing. Keep doing competitive programming, keep your core computer science fundamentals up-to-date. You MUST switch after crossing the 1 year mark.

This is not a tech-first startup. Nor it will ever be. The culture is just not right. Of course tech startups have tons of workload. But you have that energetic culture, awesome peers and great seniors that drive yours as well as the organization's growth. Which, is completely missing here. A better engineer would have far better chances of growing elsewhere. But do join in case if: 0. You like to write whatever code you want, however you want, no test cases, demos, documentation required. No pre-prod testing, No code reviews, You commit directly to prod branch. Oh wait we don't have a prod branch! Imagine hot-bug-fixes here at 4:00 am. 1. You're a senior guy who can fight each and every day with multiple stakeholders for deadlines and bad tech decisions(imagine not-good VP tech and a verbally abusive CEO because we don't have product managers and other important designations. Literally. Not even in the people management software!). 2. You can answer calls at 4:00 am and not disturb your family everyday. Who can call you? Anyone, because your phone number will be circulated to all business teams from the top to the ground force. Literally, as a software dev, you get calls from ground people to fix the "issue". 3. You can work with people who are fine with the above. Image the performance reviews. Oh wait. There are no "reviews". Say bye bye to industry wide practices. Be known of the fact that good folks do-not want to work here, so you would constantly be loosing team-mates. Naturally they look out for talent in the fresh grads pool and the joining conditions involve a bond to work for 1.5 years. That is how they have survived and that is what you will be seeing in the code-base.

Appraisals aren't satisfying enough. Promotions are limited. 7 days working week resulting in a not so good work-life balance.
